Modeled after the black and red Air Jordan sneaker, Casio releases this conservative yet fashionable G-Shock colorway Black and Red series the G-Shock GW-5000HR-1JF.The watches in this collection have bands with two different colour molded together, black outer and red inner band.
From the side of the band you can see the split between the contrasting colors of the dual layered band, its gives the watch a unique look when viewed at an angle.
Casio unexpectedly launched G-Shock GW-5000HR-1JF Black and Red series in 2016 from their high end GW 5000 G-Shock model.
Beside the dual coloured band, this Black and Red Series watches feature black bodies and bands with red bezel lettering. Casio added modern features like Tough Solar/Multi-Band 6 and a DLC coating on the case back.
These features has become more widespread with recent G-Shock releases of other Casio G-Shock model.
The GW-5000HR-1JF also has a reverse LCD display and a different, darker outer face design than the GW-5000-1JF.
